Who is behind iKnowFarm App and how was it developed?
iKnowFarm App was created with the needs of small-scale farmers in mind. Through a collaborative effort, farmers, local governments, agricultural experts, and NGOs all played a key role in shaping the app's features and functionalities. This user-centric approach ensures iKnowFarm offers the most relevant and helpful information for those who use it most. iKnowFarm is led by Grace Muhumuza, a Ugandan entrepreneur who serves as the company's CEO. The app's development was made possible through the Digital Innovations for Zero Hunger project. This project is funded by BMZ through Welthungerhilfe in partnership with PALM Corps.
